On the water

At nearby Veillon beach, accessible on foot or by mini train, you’ll find a range of watersports such as surfing, wind surfing and waterskiing. There’s also a sailing school at both Port Bourgenay and nearby Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, and you can try your hand at sand-yachting at Port Bourgenay, too.

Fencing and freewheeling

To get your adrenalin pumping, take up your sword. Fencing classes held at the village are among the more unusual sports that are proving a hit with guests looking for something a little different.
