While most of you are revelling in the sunshine [well sunshine and showers…], Pierre & Vacances’ thoughts are drifting to snowy mountains in the French Alps… And for those who are also hotly anticipating the open pistes, après ski and fresh powder of winter, booking is now open for self catering ski accommodation for the 2011/2012 season, with some great early booking deals!
Pierre & Vacances has ski-apartment rentals in more than 40 top ski resorts in the French Alps and Pyrenees, offering affordable and comfortable self catering accommodation at the heart of the snowy action. With the vast majority of residences offering ski out facilities so you can hit the slopes faster!
And to celebrate the launch of ski holidays for the 2011/2012 season, Pierre & Vacances is offering early ski-bird discounts of up to 20 per cent off selected self catering accommodation booked before October 31st 2011 in resorts such as Avoriaz, Val Thorens, Méribel and Flaine.
Or if you fancy something with a luxorious edge, there are early savings of 10 per cent for bookings on Pierre & Vacances Premium ski residences booked before 31st October 2011. Premium residences offer stylish self-catering accommodation with luxury extras in a wide variety of ski paradises such as Flaine, Val d’Isere, Chamonix and Arc 1950. So you can return from the slopes and indulge in a heated indoor swimming pool, gym or spa, as well as enjoying free wifi and croissant deliveries during your stay!
In the new 2011/2012 ski season, Pierre & Vacances will also be again offering its ‘snow guarantee’ policy on all winter ski holidays, giving ski fans peace of mind, knowing they have the option to cancel their booking free of charge if snow conditions in resorts are insufficient up to five days prior to their departure.
And as well as early bird booking discounts and snow guarantees, there are also brand new residences available for skiers and snowboarders – three properties in the redeveloped resort of Avoriaz, including one new addition to the ‘Premium’ range. Plus brand new spa facilities in Arcs 1950 and Avoriaz 1800 and refurbishments in resorts including Val Thorens, La Tania and Val d’Isere.
The three new properties in Avoriaz are among the first new apartment residences created in the French resort since its conception by Pierre & Vacances in 1967. The three developments – Pierre & Vacances Les Crozats, Maeva Electra and Pierre & Vacances Premium L’Amara – collectively boast more than 470 rooms and will open this December. The Premium L’Amara property will also feature a state of the art ‘Deep Nature Spa’ by Algotherm found in other Pierre & Vacances Premium residences.
