London Calling: the winners!
Pierre & Vacances staff recently entered a competition to win one of two fabulous weekends in London.
To enter our competition, staff had to write and submit a travel diary or review of their favourite Pierre & Vacances residence in France. Reviews had cover accommodation, tips, an insight to the local area and had to be written in first person.
After much deliberation we have selected two main winners! Congratulations to Stefanie Broeker, the main prize winner and Jeremiah Lejade, who wins best English entry. Both have won a weekend away for two in London.
Why did we pick them?
Stefanie Broeker submitted a travel diary following her weekend trip to Pont Royal. Stefanie travelled with three friends and we felt this added some personality to the entry more so than other submissions. We also felt Stefanie submitted the most complete review as she split up her diary into sections, with complete descriptions of the resort and apartment, alongside tips of what to visit, where to dine and how to get to the resort. Read Stefanie’s review in full here.
We picked Jeremiah as the winner for best use of English because of his eloquently written, detailed review of his stay in Vars with his partner. Jeremiah ensured his review was written in first person allowing the reader to follow the weekend day by day. We felt there was lots of personality to the entry. Jeremiah also managed to translate his sense of humour into English making his entry very entertaining to English readers! Read Jeremiah’s travel diary in full here.
A special mention goes to Celine Wong, Mathilde Picard, Tiffany Francois and Sven Krapf who are our highly commended finalists. We hope they will allow us to feature their entries on the blog.

Anyone who entered the competition will receive a 30% voucher for P&O ferries, so everyone wins something!
